Our members are committed to contribute to the further development of Hammarby Sjöstad and to provide systems, technologies and services for smart and sustainable cities all over the world.

Volvo Buses is one of the world’s leading brands of buses and coaches, operating in more than 140 countries. The overall vision of Volvo Buses is to become the world leader in sustainable transport solutions, leading the way by pioneering electromobility solutions. Volvo Buses have delivered buses to the Stockholm electric demoline from Ropsten to Karolinska Institutet and to the Gothenburg demoline, called ElectriCity, between Chalmers and Lindholmen.
Charge Amps develop and produce advanced electric vehicle supply equipment in Sweden. Our contribution to a Sustainable Mobility is to present user-friendly charging solutions and thereby ease the transition to a fossil-free car fleet. The core of Charge Amps is a four-leaf clover; 1. Advanced mechatronics 2. World-Class industrial design 3. Encouraging leadership and 4. The ability to wrap the entire change process in an attractive way and sell it.
IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet
KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm is one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities. It is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world dedicated to advancing knowledge. KTH is part of extensive international research collaborations and participate in a large number of educational exchange or joint programmes with universities and colleges in Europe, the U.S., Australia, Asia and Africa. KTH is working with industry and society in the pursuit of sustainable solutions to some of humanity’s greatest challenges: climate change, future energy supply, urbanisation and quality of life for the rapidly-growing elderly population. KTH Executive School is a subsidiary of KTH Royal Institute of Technology. It delivers know-how, broadened perspectives and inspiration to senior managers and officers in leading positions. It goes through: open educational programs, tailor-made in-company educational programs, seminars and workshops in selected topics delivered on demand and platforms for focused processing of crucial challenges and initiatives.
One of the most unique places to visit when in Hammarby Sjöstad is Studio Sjövillan (www.studiosjovillan.se). This villa was built as an experimental building when the area was created in early 2000 and has now been carefully renovated to a sustainable meeting place for companies, organizations and groups. It is also the home for Göran & Malin Avalon Engquist and their businesses. As a visitor to Hammarby Sjöstad you are welcome to a VIP visit at Studio Sjövillan to enjoy the fantastic lakeside scenery of Hammarby Sjöstad. You will spend an evening with Göran & Malin as your hosts in their home preparing a typical Swedish dinner based on locally and sustainably produced ingredients and matching this with sustainably produced beverages.
